Yesterday, I bought some loose tea from Adagio Tea. They have a wide array of teas and a most pleasing website I’d have to say. Originally, I heard about the brand when ex-TechTV host Kevin Rose promoted them on Diggnation, a weekly video podcast. This week, they are actually sponsoring diggnation and offering a special offer for listeners. It contains 4 different flavors and a teapot for brewing the loose tea. It looks kind of gadgety, but if it doesn’t require new filters all the time, and I dont break it, then it should be worth while. Especially, since I’ve been wanting to try some new flavors.
- genmai cha: An exotic Japanese recipe that combines popped rice and popcorn with tender and delicate green tea leaves.
- green pekoe: A thin, wavy tea from the Fujian province of China. Produces a light cup with a smooth, mellow taste and a gentle, soothing aroma.
- sencha overture: Green tea from the Shizuoka region of Japan. A delicate second flush (summer) tea whose soothing taste make it a perfect everyday treat.
- chamomile: The finest varieties of Chamomile, of which our tea is a great example, continue to come from Egypt.
