Stamp Reflection

I have a lot of old $.33 stamps, and I’ve had to buy a lot of $.02 stamps to make up the difference for todays rate of $.39. I always thought my letters looked funny with 1x$.33 and 3x$.02s, but one of my landlords letters looked like this.

I wonder why the sender didn’t use all $.03s, $.02s, or $.01. It seems like they wanted to use a combination of all of them. Maybe they wanted to balance out their stockpile of stamps, but it’s almost as if they intentionally placed them in this pattern to be artsy. Perphaps there is no message in the letter, but the stamp arrangement itself is a secret coded message.

Yeah … the coded message to the Post Offices says, ” your a bunch of A**es for continually raising the stamprates. So count this……Beeeeoooooccccchhhh!”

That does look very artsy. I didn’t know or I guess I’ve never tried to do that with stamps. thanks for showing us, Mers. For a while I had some 29 cent stamps left over, but I think I eventually used them all a year or so ago.

All 39 one cent stamps would be a bit much…

mom is going to arrive some time tomorrow. She doesn’t have any potato soup with her but she does have 4 boxes of beer bread, Ceej. She also says she thought she did send some potato soup to you.

I’ve wondered if a machine checks the postage fee or if someone has to manually add up the stamps. My roomate had a lot of $.37 stamps that he sent out. He only got one back, so I guess they got through.
