The Apartment Series (part 2)

  1. The kitchen. You know…oven, sink, cabinets.
  2. Kitchen table. My roomy got it from his Grandma’s house. It is stained this odd greenish color, but he loves it. The clock on the wall is stupid. The numbers are scattered on the bottom and it says “Whatever” above it. “Whatever” is what I want to yell when I drop kick it out the door.
  3. Fridge. Trash. Door leading to my room. I think I’d rather buy a new trash can than clean this one out.
  4. Looking South through the open apartment.
  5. My chilly room and where I rest my head every night.

  1. Fern
  2. Nois Leafus
  3. Somewhatus Pleasanticus
  4. Spiderous tentaculus
  5. Hodgeous Podgeous. I think this plant has some ‘lucky bamboo’ in it. They had these long curves from stretching for the sun. I cut one of them shorter and am hoping for it to grow roots. The other one, I’m trying to bend back into shape.

wow it’s like a new year’s eve miracle! I just happened to click over on my way off the computer. I’m really starting to get jealous of the plants… jealous of having plants that is, not of being a plant ;) Is this what the apartment looked like when you first moved in? I’m inspired to look at the earliest posts.

I really like the baseless sinks, especially in the kitchen. With a chair of the right height, you could do the dishes while sitting down without having to twist your torso in a funny way to accomodate cabinets or whatever.

Meh. From a design standpoint, I’m not a fan of the baseless sink. The one in the bathroom is the same way. It just shows off a dirty ‘ol pipe and I dont think I’d ever wash dishes sitting down.
