Fine! I’ll use Facebook, share my photos, and join your little clubs.

Have you joined yet? I just joined yesterday and found out that one of my summertime friends from camp 5 years ago is going to school at Oregon State and lives here too. We’re (hopefully) getting together this weekend. It’s like a facebook miracle!
I haven’t delved too much into the intricacies of facebook. I can see it’s advantages. The Wall is pretty cool. Letting lots of people see and start different threads also cool. I still like myspace music and blogposting.

Well, I’ve had an account for a long time. But I’m still not “using” Facebook per se. I dont see the need to use it, since I have a blog and email the people close to me.

I definitely don’t need it. But for some reason, my friends are really happy that I opened an account. And even I have to admit it was fun writing on my wall and finding my long lost friend. Actually for me, it’s a little more addictive than myspace (maybe just cuz it’s new). I’ll probably have to set a limit for myself for it, only on weekends or something…

On second thought, I do need it. My upcoming lunch with Julia will probably be the highlight of my Saturday and there are at least 10 people who I’ve completely lost contact with whom I might be able to facebook-it. Need is a weird word, but I’m sticking with it for now.

I’m almost up to 60 friends now! Truckin along. And I haven’t even sifted through all my high school friends yet. Need to save that for another day.
Facebook is somehow a lot more user friendly and accessible than myspace. I just found my BFF from grade school. I had to have mom’s help though since I had no idea what her married name is. I don’t know if she remembers me but I gave it a shot. And everytime I’m logged out, I think “oh! I should have friended that person!” And that’s what I’ve been up to the last week. Besides accidentally burning an entire batch of jam!

“User Friendly”? Dude, every time I login, I can’t find my way around. I’m totally out of the social website loop.

Well, I’m still figuring it out too! I guess I should have specifed user friendly for finding and friending friends (and then friending more and more friends and mutual friends of friends). That part is AMAZINGLY easy.
Come on, Mers! You know you wanna! With quizzes like, “Which Princess Bride Character Are You?” how can anyone resist?!

So, Little Miss FB, why don’t you change your friend settings already! I can’t find you in a search. Are you using an actual photo? Or real information? Where are you?
clear :) said,
That’s weird because the same thing happened when I tried to look you up! I guess you’re not officially going by “Ultimate Chewyhead of the Century?”
Real photo. Real info, dude. First name. Middle name. Married Name. Retry.

Maybe I do need to change my settings??? brb

Search visibility = everyone. I’m baffled at this too. Maybe go to Owasso HIgh School class of 1995? Truth be told, I think I tried to look for myself and I had a little trouble. Maybe try looking for Doug with his full first name, middle initial P., last name. Are you spelling the last name right? Just checking!
clear :) said,
I would say I’ll find you, but that could take me a while as over 300 people have a name similar to yours. Do you have a profile pic up?
~Mers said,
Well, I found Doug.
~Mers said,
AHHHHHhhhhhh. The last name was throwing me off.

If you’re trying “search by email,” I can tell you that’s not going to work because I’m using a different account than you have on file, I think.

At last! You did it! You have won one batch of gnocchi.

Ok, so it seems like Facebook is here to stay. Today, and this week, I plan to mount a Blitzkrieg and friend any and everyone.
